(MIAMI RAPPER ZONE)
Give Us Some Background Info As To Who You Are.
My name is Zone and I’m a rapper/songwriter from Dade County, Florida.
Wisdom is my mother, understanding is my father and time is my teacher. At the early age of five, music became a way to escape everyday struggles.
What Is The Significance Of Your Name?
The meaning of my name represents the fact that I operate on a different zone, a different time and a different frame of mind. Hence, the name Zone.

The single I’m currently pushing is a song called “Diggin U.” The track is crazy and I’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback from it. Lenny S from Def Jam said this was the one to push.
What Sets You Apart From Other Aspiring Artists?
My motivation, obligation and dedication sets me apart for other artists. My music is passionate and unique.
What Is The Philosophy By Which You Live By?
The philosophy I live by is “Each one teach one and never misleads one.”
Which Artists Have Inspired You?
I’ve been inspired by many great artists such as TuPac, Bob Marley, Eminem, Barry White, T.I , Chaka Khan, Otis Redding, Al Greene, Sam Cook, Frankie Valley & Four Seasons , BG, KC & The Sunshine Band and many more.
Who Does Your Production?
My music production is primarily handled by JCriss from Trak Lab Productions. He’s on top of his game.
What Is Your Opinion Of The Current State of the music industry?
Right now, the game is missing substance. Very few artists are speaking about anything worthwhile. There are too many trap stars and ballers. That’s where I am different. I provide content that people can relate to while being entertaining at the same time.
If You Can Change One Thing About The Music Industry What Would It Be And Why?
If I could change one thing I would change the signing process. I would rather see people get signed off of their talent and not "the movement" that their money paid for. There are many people with real talent but no revenues and they can’t be heard due to that factor. Let’s go back to the old days where the music counted.

Yes I looking forward to doing a song with Rafael Saadiq and Ne-Yo.
